全球化对中国的冲击和挑战：
（1）中国经济增长过于依赖贸易；
（2）在政治方面，由于中国是社会主义国家，经济的高速增长动摇了西方霸权的地位，引起它们的恐慌；
（3）随着中国对全球化参与程度的加深，中国的文化建设受到两方面的挑战：一是西方意识形态对马克思主义指导地位的挑战；二是西方一些腐朽文化对中国传统文化的冲击；
（4）国家安全方面，目前还存在着霸权主义、强权政治等影响世界和平的因素，我们所面临的国际安全环境并不太乐观。再者，国家安全已经不再是传统意义上的军事与政治安全，而是政治安全、经济安全、文化安全、军事安全和信息安全的有机统一。
面对全球化的应对策略：
首先，必须明确中国在全球化进程中的位置，以此为制定全球化战略的前提；
其次，要不断解放思想、深化改革、发展自己；
再次，增强综合国力以确保国家安全；
总之，要以客观、务实的精神积极融入全球化的潮流，抓住机遇，积极推进社会主义现代化事业，促成更加公平、平等的全球化时代的来临。
